Beginner's Class

You’ll be participating in small group classes, focusing on bodyweight movements and lightweight implements. We’ll teach you the basics, emphasize proper technique, and you’ll get a kick-ass workout too.

Your First Class is Free!

Here’s a sample timeline of your first day at CrossFit Buckhead:

Arrive 15 minutes early:

  • You’ll receive a friendly hello from your coach and even some of our community members.
  • We will show you around and get some paperwork out of the way.
  • This is a great time to get comfortable, ask questions, and get a mini-stretch in.

First 10 minutes of class:

  • Your coach will thoroughly explain the workout and will take you through a warm up with the class.
  • We even do a Question of the Day to get some funnies and giggles in!

Workout time!

  • CrossFit usually has 2 parts in every workout: A strength and cardio portion.
  • In the strength potion, we focus on one major lift - working nice and slow.
  • When it’s cardio time, we move fast and with grit. How fast you work is up to you!
  • Every workout is scalable, and your coach is there to walk you through the best workout for you, no matter your fitness experience level.

After class:

  • Your coach will assess which plan is best for you based on how your first class went.
  • Sign up and start your life changing CrossFit journey!

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Driving directions:

When you are traveling north on Piedmont Road, Miami Circle is the first street on the right after you pass Sidney Marcus Blvd.

Once you turn into Miami Circle, drive down to the roundabout and turn left. Yes – all the way around and then left. Enter through the big red doors under the “Atlanta Kick” sign. Atlanta Kick is our sister company. (Our sign is on the way!)

In the building:

Once you come in through the big red doors, turn to the left. Please check in with the CrossFit coach in Room #3.

If parking is full:

There is another entrance if drive down to the very end of Miami Circle (going past the roundabout). When you reach the dead end, you will veer left and park in the lot in front of Eclipse di Luna restaurant. You will find an entrance to the building to the RIGHT of the restaurant. CrossFit Buckhead and Atlanta Kick are located inside. Use the glass doors to come in, walk all the way to the end of the hallway and turn right (You should see the glass window with our name.) Please check in with the coach in the CrossFit room.
